The whole team of CNA, in charge of the organization of the meeting, welcomed the partners in this central place where we were kindly allowed to have our meeting.

The agenda of the day was based on the European Commission tools and mechanisms provided to boost the cooperation between the parties. Actions (common website, technical workshops, B2B matchmaking events…) were outlined and discussed to foster closer cooperation and to give soon some results to our members. The aim keeps on strengthening the links between our countries and using innovation to access new markets. We have particularly appreciated that new project ideas/drafts could be discussed; this has to be seen as a major step forward towards our common goals. Let us work on those !

It was also the time to welcome a new member from Poland into the European Railway Cluster Initiative : the Southern Railway Cluster, who shares the same mission and goals as all of us.
Moreover, the OpenETCS project, were presented by Dr. Klaus-Rudiger Hase, Deutsche Bahn AG, who explained us the reasoning behind and answered to our questions.
